What's Worse than a Thief A Thief in Politics

              

             A thief's sole purpose in life is to steal. No matter what they're stealing or how valuable it might be, the motivation behind their actions remains the same - taking something that belongs to someone else without their consent and without offering anything in return. But when you add politics into the mix, does a thief become more dangerous? Is the motivation for political theft different from the motivation of non-political theft? More importantly, does it matter?

They are Everywhere Around us

         Politicians are out there stealing from the public, and you could be paying for it. The average taxpayer is paying $1,000 a year in taxes that go to pay for someone else's salary or benefits. Politicians only do what they think is best for themselves and their friends, not their constituents. They're all thieves at heart, so stay away from them if you can.

They're Brazen

            These thieves are so brazen that they're hardly ever punished. They think that no one will notice when they steal from the people. But, we're not about to let them get away with this kind of behavior for much longer. We have a plan to get rid of these thieves once and for all. We're going to make sure that their days as politicians are over.

Politician is a White Color Stealer

                 A politician is an individual who has the ability to influence many people and make decisions that affect millions of lives. As such, a politician should be held to high standards and not be allowed to steal. Though it seems unthinkable, politicians have been found guilty of stealing from their own countrymen. In South Korea, Lee Myung-bak was convicted of embezzlement during his presidency (2008-2013). He was sentenced to 15 years in prison for siphoning off $20 million through shell companies while serving as mayor of Seoul from 2002-2006 before becoming President. The most shocking part is that he was pardoned by current president Moon Jae-in just this year.

They have no Shame

                If you're going to steal from somebody, why not steal from the people you'll be working for? Politicians are always breaking their promises and taking advantage of the population. They don't care about the country, they only care about how much money they can make for themselves. If that's not enough reason to turn away from them, I don't know what is.

They Think They're Above the Law

                They both think they're not answerable to the law. On the one hand, the primary reason public figures are punished more severely for their crimes is because of the multitude of people their lawbreaking effects. As well as being morally bankrupt, theft is bad for business. When elected officials commit crime, it sends the message that stealing is not a big deal. Not only will this make honest businesses seem less trustworthy, but also it may dissuade prospective customers from trusting you with their money out of worry about fraudulent practices or an inconsistent service ethic.

They're a Disgrace to Their Office

                I've had my share of people coming into my store and trying to steal. The thieves are the worst because they're not only stealing from me, but they're also stealing from their communities. But now I'm seeing something that takes the cake: thieves in politics. These people are stealing not only as individuals, but on behalf of an entire society and system. They're ruining it for everyone else and it's honestly just disgusting.

                 The Internet is full of articles about the thieves out there who are trying to steal your hard-earned money. Whether it's from some guy on the street or someone trying to get elected, these thieves have one thing in common: they want something that doesn't belong to them. When it comes down to it, they are all thieves. No matter what they try and say, they're just looking for an easy way out without having to work for anything. I'm not saying any of this is right, but I think we should all be aware of these people and their intentions, because you never know when you might come across one yourself.

Police Stealer

             Similarly to criminal charges and trials held against civilians for their actions, police officers should be held to the same standard. Though they might want to be, police officers are not immune to prosecution.

Justice/Judgement also involved in this Bad Habit

             

   It is bad enough when you are the victim of theft. It is even more devastating when that thief is in politics and has been there for years. The worst part about having thieves running our country--they don't seem to care that they are stealing from you. How can we make sure these thieves stop stealing from us? There needs to be some justice for these politicians who have been taking advantage of us for so long. I am tired of being the only one paying taxes and getting nothing but broken roads and an education system that falls short every year. Enough is enough. It's time to take back our country and make it the kind of place where we want to live, work, raise our families, and grow old with dignity.

Politician [stealer] should be one profession that steal or take things without consent. Nowadays, our country is rampant by corrupt politicians who steal money from tax payers (wajib pajak) after each general election that they have won.
